Starry Night
It was bitterly cold tonight, but that didn't stop Lindsay and I from grabbing a quick walk after work tonight. The temperature isn't really that much colder today (we had a low of 17 and the current temperature is around 26) but it seemed a lot colder as we were walking. We walked about 3/4 of a mile in just 15 minutes. I want to go for two laps around tomorrow or the next day (weather permitting) and get a mile and a half. I use CardioTrainer which is an app for my Droid X to track workouts. I especially like that it interacts with Google Health. However, I've decided that I also want a Fitbit. I love data and think it would be totally fun to have one of these little guys.
Since we were walking just after dusk, there wasn't much to look at except the stars. I had left work just before sunset and the sky was just partly cloudy. Therefore, I was surprised by how few stars I could see. That, coupled with the fact that I've been thinking about how to capture candle light and other really subtle light the last few days made me think of this photo. I took a few others, but this one was my favorite.
Also grabbed a good picture of Lindsay tonight. She's being so playful right now. I think she's feeling better and the walks in the evening these last two nights are letting me keep a good eye on her gait and how she's holding her foot. Until tomorrow.
