Walnut Harvest Update 3
I love a lot of things about blogging. I like the writing and story-telling. I love reading comments and growing the number of blogs I read based on the comments I receive. And, of course, I love snapping pictures.
But, most of all, I love it when a blog post I've written makes someone else think - or take action - and that hasn't happened all that often - or at least not as demonstrated by the comments I've received thus far in my brief blogging career. (So, if you like a post, or it makes you think - or inspires you in some way, let me know in the comments or drop me a note - I love hearing from readers.)
That said, my walnut harvest post, has definitely gotten some attention. It's the third most viewed page on the site (weird - who would have thought!?). So, how excited was I when my amazing sister Susie, who has been a guest photographer here once before, sent me a photo of the walnuts now that they've moved on to the drying phase. Go dad! Looking forward to helping get all those yummy nuts picked out while I'm visiting this winter.
